HOW COLD IS IT WHEN I WILL BE HUNTING?
Anywhere from 60 degrees to 5 below (fahrenheit) - and normal (most common) is 15 degrees give or take 15 degrees!

WHAT KIND OF STANDS DO I USE?
We use 12 foot elevated stands - enclosed, heaters are supplied in cold weather. We use lock on and ladder stands for archery hunters.
We also use ground blinds.

WHEN IS THE RUT?
The first week of Nov. is usually the pre rut. Small bucks will chase. 2nd and 3rd week is usually the rut. 4th week the rut is all but  done. Rut will vary somewhat from one year to the next. Weather and moon phase are some of the factors which may influence the timing of the rut.

WHAT CALIBER OF GUN SHOULD I USE?
270's to 300 Ultra-Mags - shot placement is always key!

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE TROPHY THAT I HARVEST?
We skin and cape and freeze your hide - we clean your skull/antlers and prepare it for travel.

DO YOU HAVE RADIOS?
Yes, we have radios to communicate between guides and hunters. This adds another safety and convenience factor. Cell phones work most locations. Let your provider know that you are going to Canada.

HOW MANY HUNTERS IN CAMP?
Maximum of 8

WHAT IS THE HUNTER PER GUIDE RATIO?
We run 2 hunters to 1 guide.

WHAT ARE THE NORMAL TIPS?
Our cooks and guides work very hard to make your hunt a trip of a lifetime. Most clients use 10% of the total hunt cost as a guide.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE TO HARVEST WHILE I AM THERE?
Hi-Fence Elk, Buffalo, Fallow Deer, Russian Boars and Whitetails can be arranged. You can also 'join us' for a Saskatchewan Coyote hunt. Bear season has fishing included if time and weather permit. Gopher hunting sometimes in spring also.

IS THERE AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION?
We pick you up at the Saskatoon Inn in Saskatoon and deliver you back to the hotel at the end of the week. Shuttles available to and from airport to hotel.

IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED?
Alcohol is allowed in the camp.

IS THERE CELL SERVICE?
Most of the time!... but not all the time! Depends on exactly where you are! Talk to your provider and let them know you are travelling to Canada
